Art is one of the oldest pieces of happiness that human being identify with and that has evolved overtime,but when one decide to use art to solve some of the pressing issues it becomes phenomenal.
Mr kelvin Omondi famously known as ohms law Montana is an award winning hip artist from kisauni in Mombasa who has chosen to use hip in preventing violent extremism ,crime and many other issues affecting young people in kisauni and the coast region at large .
ohms law montana is passionate about creating social change through spoken word and hip hop ,which he highly attributes to the bettering the youths of the neighborhood where he grew up ,especially changing the perception of how people look at kisauni.
The road to creating hasn't been easy for him although he has defied all the odds to be a change agent and dared to take a road less traveled.
being an ambassador of "young cities program 'supported by institute for strategic dialogue , he has managed to work with other youths to come up with counter narrations of violent extremism and work on a campaign to prevent crime .
Ohms law montana is graduate of mass communication who loves story telling through music and poetry and a proud alumni of khamis high school aka korija boys ,he has carried his identity to all his music which is very creative of him especially being able to speak to the needs of young people.

when we dream to make a difference ,we have two option either to step out from the dream and actualize it or stay in the dream and continue building castles in the air,ohms law has dared to step out out and drive conversations and his little thing is changing the narrative what is your little thing ?

I received an award from the British high commission for my contribution in preventing violent extremism ,the fact that i want to see a better kisauni drives me to developing new strategies everyday to take back our glory .
